Heart of New Jersey Chorus

The Heart of New Jersey Chorus is a chapter of Sweet Adelines International, highly respected worldwide organization of women singers committed to advancing the musical art form of barbershop harmony through education, competition and performance.  We sing a variety of music, from Gershwin to Gospel, Show Tunes to Swing, and Ballads to Boogie.

The chorus performs throughout the year for a variety of events as well as our annual show.  In addition, Sweet Adelines International provides an annual opportunity for evaluation at yearly competitions.

We are continually looking to improve our craft and have several opportunities throughout the year to bring in specialized 'coaches' to focus are specific areas.

Our members are from six New Jersey Counties (Ocean, Monmouth, Hunterdon, Middlesex, Bernards, Somerset) as well as Staten Island and Brooklyn.

Our rehearsals are open and we are always looking for new members.
