The Ottawa Catholic School Board Children's Choir was founded by MaryAnn Dunn in 1991 with the goal of providing an opportunity for the musical children of the Board to sing in an Honours group.
Our History
For 25 years, the Ottawa Catholic School Board has supported an Honours Choir program which draws students from its schools across the National Capital Region. This choral project began with the formation of a Children’s Choir in 1991. Today there are four choirs, a training choir called The Young Voices, the Chamber Choir, the Boy’s Choir and the largest of the group, the Children’s Choir.
