We are a fun group of people who love to sing under the direction of our very talented director Don Conley. Rehearsals run from 7.00-9.00 pm on Tuesdays. On Mondays, voice sectionals take place. This is not mandatory but is a valuable additional practice and all who are able are encouraged to attend.
Salt Spring Singers’ Fall sessions commence at the beginning of September for the Fall term, and the first week of January for the Spring term, at the Baptist Church, 520 Lower Ganges Rd. Registration takes place at the church from 6.15 pm - 7.00 pm, followed by an introduction to the session's music and a rehearsal. As this is a Community Choir, no audition is required and the ability to read music is not mandatory. We welcome singers in all registers: soprano, alto, tenor, baritone, bass, but we are always in need of lower voices, particularly baritones.
