The Haldimand Choralairs is a community choir of approximately forty voices, soprano, alto, tenor and bass. Formed 54 years ago by George Shippey, the choir has changed over the years and continues today under the direction of Dr. Stillman Matheson. The Choralairs present two different concerts each year: one in the spring and one at Christmas. The concerts are performed in venues ranging from churches to community halls and retirement homes. The choir is open to invitations to sing for co-operative fund-raising and for special events.
