The Burlington Welsh Ladies Chorus (BWLC) was founded in early 2017 with nine (9) members, following in the footsteps of the Burlington Welsh Male Chorus (BWMC) that was established in 2001.
BWLC now have approximately 40 members, and new members are always welcome!
The Burlington Welsh Ladies Chorus sing a variety of works from Pop, Show Tunes, Opera and some traditional Welsh pieces in three (3) part harmony. BWLC have performed at various venues in the Burlington area including Retirement Homes , Church Fundraisers, the Royal Botanical Gardens and by invitation Choir Fest and the Art Gallery of Burlington.
The Burlington Welsh Ladies Chorus is Directed by Janice Beninger and Christopher Hunt is the Accompanist.
BWLC rehearse Tuesdays from 7:30-9:30 P.M. at St. Matthew on-the-Plains 126 Plains Road East, Burlington, ON

Our Mission
The BWLC objectives, similar to the BWMC, include " Entertainment, education and to increase the public understanding and appreciation of choral singing. We aim to provide performances of an artistic nature in public places, senior cituzens' homes, churches, community centers and to bring the beauty and therapeutic benefits of music to the community."
